Stockport-born writer, Sarah Butler, explores the relationship between writing and place through prose, poetry and participatory projects. Recent writing residencies include writer-in-residence on the Central line; at Great Ormond Street Hospital; and Tideline – a public art project linked to a major regeneration project in Belvedere, East London. She has two novels published by Picador: Ten Things I’ve Learnt About Love and Before The Fire.
Julie Mosley is a Textile Artist who has delivered a wide range of creative workshops and projects since 1999. She regularly leads workshops for The Lowry, Manchester Art Gallery and Tameside Galleries and Museums and has sold her paper, fabric appliquéd and machine embroidered work across the UK.
Arc is Stockport’s specialist arts and health charitable organisation, harnessing the power of creativity with people to rebuild their self-confidence and fulfil their potential as healthy and resilient citizens. We work from our studios, gallery and shop in Reddish, as well as in Stepping Hill Hospital, Children’s Centres and the wider community. Arc’s extensive range of services also includes an outreach agency and a graphic design service.
